Annual Boat Ramp Decals cost $20 for the year starting April 15th or $5 for the week. They can be purchased in the Town Office of Police Station. The decals need to be placed on your trailer or car to use the boat ramp. A canoe/kayak trailer or car needs the decal as well.

Kayaks and Canoes do not need to be registered in VA but you need the decal to use a city boat ramp.

Assateague:

Kayaks/Canoes do not need any permits to launch at Toms Cove. You can launch in the parking lot to the right, near the visitor center.
